CSUCC research team visits UP Los Baños

The Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus – Research, Development, Innovation, and Extension (CSUCC–RDIE) Team, together with the Food Research Ideation and Entrepreneur Development Hub (FRIED HUB), conducted a partnership visit to the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Extension (OVCRE) at the University of the Philippines Los Baños.
The activity aimed to strengthen institutional capacities in research governance, innovation management, and extension initiatives while fostering potential partnerships and collaborative engagements between the two institutions.
Dr. Nathalie L. Daminar, Division Chief for RDIE, and Ms. Mae Karren Correos, Center Chief of the FRIED HUB Research Center, led the partnership delegation. Members of the RDIE leadership team also joined the visit, including Mr. Cresencio C. Cabuga Jr., Head of the Publication Management Office; Ms. Ailene B. Budiongan, Head for Research, Development, and Innovation Services; and Mr. Julito A. Puebla Jr., Head for Extension Services.
During the visit, both institutions exchanged insights on best practices in research management systems, scholarly publication support, technology transfer, and extension program implementation. Through dialogue and institutional sharing, they explored opportunities for collaboration that will further strengthen research productivity, innovation ecosystems, and community-responsive extension programs.
Aligned with the global framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this partnership engagement reinforces the shared commitment of CSUCC and the University of the Philippines Los Baños to advancing Quality Education (SDG 4), promoting Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure (SDG 9), and strengthening Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
