CSUCC research team visits DOST-ITDI

The Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus – Research, Development, Innovation, and Extension (CSUCC–RDIE) Team, together with the FRIED HUB Research Center, conducted a partnership visit to the Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute (DOST–ITDI).

The activity aimed to strengthen CSUCC’s institutional research systems and establish potential partnerships and collaborative initiatives with the institute in advancing research, technology development, and innovation.

Dr. Nathalie L. Daminar, Division Chief for RDIE, and Ms. Karen Mae Correos, Center Chief of the FRIED HUB Research Center, led the delegation. They were joined by key RDIE officials: Mr. Cresencio C. Cabuga Jr., Head of the Publication Management Office; Ms. Ailene B. Budiongan, Head for Research, Development, and Innovation Services; and Mr. Julito A. Puebla Jr., Head for Extension Services.

As part of the partnership engagement, the delegation visited several laboratories and packaging facilities at Department of Science and Technology – Industrial Technology Development Institute. The team gained valuable insights into advanced research infrastructures, product development processes, and technology-based solutions that support industry and community needs.

The visit created a meaningful platform for knowledge exchange, allowing both institutions to share best practices in laboratory operations, research management, and innovation support systems.

Through this initiative, CSUCC continues to strengthen strategic collaborations, enhance research capabilities, and promote innovation-driven development aligned with national priorities and the university’s research and development agenda.
